 GP4 Update 2002 v2.5

The GP4Update 2002 is a complete update for Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix 4, including all teams, drivers and cars of the current Formula One season 2002 and many other updates (e.g. new 2002 graphics for all tracks, realistic performance datas, new TV track cameras, onboard cameras (including the famous Heli-Cam), menue backgrounds, loading screens, ...).
Except the GPxPatch tool you do not need any other tool or editor to install the update!

The main features:

  • All teams, drivers and cars of the current Formula One season 2002 (Suzuka)
  • Realistic 2002 season performance datas
  • All graphics are updated to the 2002 season (e.g. pit crews, pit tents, pits and of course the cars...)
  • New trackgraphics for all tracks of the 2002 season
  • New, realistic (digital) TV cameras for all 2002 tracks
  • New onboard cameras, like Heli-Cam, realistic T-Cam and other spectacular views
  • New 2002 season menue background pics
  • New and improved graphics (e.g. new steering wheel, cockpit, tyres, ...)
  • New, better looking loading screens with trackmaps
  • Car Setups for all tracks
  • Controller Setups for most steering wheels
  • Optimized graphic options for GeForce 3/4 and other graphic cards
  • Many other improvements and new features
  • With the GPxPatch tool (being needed for the GP4Update) you also get:

  • Possibility to skip the intro and startup menue
  • Edit of all GP4 keys
  • Edit the length of the Quick Races
  • Hotlap authentification (necessary for online leagues)

    Installation:

    1. Install the GP4Update in your Grand Prix 4 directory.
    2. Install GPxPatch v3.02 (

    IMPORTANT: Form now on you always have to start Grand Prix 4 using GPxPatch!!
